We, Saliena SIA (Reg. Nr. 40203032871) as the Controller of personal data processing carries out the processing of personal data and ensures their protection in accordance with the laws and regulations on the protection of data processing.

Saliena SIA as the Controller carries out the processing of personal data according to the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) – hereafter referred as Regulation; other valid laws of the Republic of Latvia are being followed as well.

The Controller has implemented necessary technical and organizational improvements according to the Regulation and other laws of the Republic of Latvia which defines personal data protection and ensures data confidentiality in the field of personal data protection.
With this Privacy Disclaimer, the Controller explains how Customers’ personal data are being processed; how the implementation of Customers’ rights are organized and other issues concerning personal data protection.

Processing of personal data – purposes and legal basis
The Controller by collecting Customers’ data is processing them to prepare and sign contracts, to provide services (according to the contractual obligations), to ensure Customer service, to support HR requirements, for example:

 When your candidature is evaluated during processing your CV and motivation letter (according to the 6th Article’s first part a)subpoint of Regulation);
 HR purposes, including the conclusion of Contract (according to the 6th Article’s first part b)subpoint of Regulation);

 Legal obligations execution according to the legislation of the Republic of Latvia (according to the 6th Article’s first part c)subpoint of Regulation);
 Contractual relations (sending offers, contracts referred to the buying, renting, selling real estate etc.) (according to the 6th Article’s first part b)subpoint of Regulation);

 Communication with Customer via internet site www.saliena.eu (according to the 6th Article’s first part a)subpoint of Regulation);
 Invoices to the Customer (according to the 6th Article’s first part b)subpoint and c)subpoint of Regulation),
except for cases when we will have your consent to other purposes or data processing is going to be necessary to support the Controller’s legitimate rights (according to the 6th Article’s first part a)subpoint and f)subpoint of Regulation);

We inform you that the data processing purposes mentioned in the Controller’s Privacy Disclaimer are not comprehensive, Customers’ data can be processed also for other purposes not mentioned in Privacy Disclaimer but according to the legitimate data processing.

We draw your attention that the Controller is obligated to follow one of the basic principles of data processing (“accuracy”), thereby please give correct information of your personal data to the Controller and inform about any changes.
Duration of personal data storage
According to the legislation government and municipality institutions (by registration process) have rights to receive personal data from the Controller.

The Controller can disclose and give personal data to these legal persons in necessity cases (ensuring appropriate security measures):
 Saliena Group enterprises
 Suppliers, service providers, subcontractors;
 Third parties (based on your accept or request).
The Controller is not sending personal data to the third world countries.
Duration of personal data storage
Terms of personal data storage are concluded according to the personal data processing purposes and its legal justification as long as there one of these criteria is valid:
 Data subject acceptance is valid for processing personal data;
 The Controller is required to fulfill the contracted obligations;
 The Controller has the legal duty to storage the data;
 The Controller is required to realize its legitimate interests
Customer’s rights:
 According to the legislation contact the Controller and receive information about personal data which is in the possession of the Controller; data processing purposes, receivers and storage period;
 Demand personal data processing restriction, object against personal data processing, request personal data correction or in several cases – witdrawal;
 Withdraw your consent for the Controller’s data processing purposes if data processing legal basis is Customer’s consent;
 Submit a complaint to the supervisory institutions regarding personal data protection issues.

Profiling is all kinds of automatic data processing. The Controller does not do it.
