Golf

Jurmala Golf Club – the largest golf course in Latvia is reconstructed by the world’s leading golf course design company Nicklaus Design. It spans a total area of 75 hectares in Saliena territory and includes two golf courses: one with 18 holes, and the other with 9 holes, as well as driving ranges and practice areas. Jurmala Golf Club also includes premium clubhouse, hotel, restaurant, and pro shop – everything for a perfect and relaxing golf game with business partners, family or friends.

Hockey

Hockey is the most popular sport in Latvia. The modern Ice Hockey Hall at Saliena hosts various hockey games, team training, figure skating, and activities for both children and adults. Saliena’s residents have the chance to skate or play hockey throughout the year, with this great facility right on their doorstep.

Swimming

Babīte Sports Complex is home to a 25-meter swimming pool for adults, heated children’s pool and sauna. Adults can swim laps or join the water aerobics, whilst professional trainers teach their children to swim.

Football

500 meters from Saliena is a state-of-the-art football pitch with a high-quality artificial surface. Children’s, youth and adult football team training sessions are held here. This is the place where talented youngsters can sign up for football academy, or even set up their own football team to hold friendlies and championships.

Water skiing

Just 600 meters from Saliena is Piņķi Reservoir and its water-skiing base. Experienced instructors are available for adults and children.

Skateboarding

Do you enjoy skateboarding or roller skating? A modern skate park has been built next to the Babite Sports Complex, where young skateboarders and roller skaters can hone their individual skills and compete to see who’s the best at pulling tricks.
